Wang Huisheng (Beijing – 18 May, 2006)
Mr Wang is the President of the Chinese State Development and Investment Corporation
(SDIC). Mr Wang holds a Bachelor Degree in Science and prior to arriving at SDIC
in 1995 was the Deputy Director of the Planning Bureau of the State Development
Bank and Director of the Investment Department of the State Planning Commission.
Since joining SDIC, Mr Wang has been the Chief Engineer, Assistant President and
Executive Director of the Planning Department and Vice President of SDIC, before
becoming President. Mr Wang is also Vice Chairman of China’s Investment Association
and Chairman of the Committee of State-owned Investment Corporations.
