Magellan Project | Overview

Sentient acquired an interest in Magellan Metals Pty Ltd from Ivernia Inc. in June 2003. Sentient structured its investment with a combination of equity and debentures to earn a 49% interest in the Magellan lead mine.

In April 2005, Sentient exited its investment in Magellan Metals at a time when commissioning of the plant was progressing towards full production and sales of lead concentrates had commenced.
