Bowie Resources LLC | Overview

In December 2003, Sentient invested in Bowie via equity and a bridging facility to earn a 45% interest in the project. Sentient’s partner in Bowie was Colorado Energy Investments (CEI), a private entity owned by the Addington family. The Addingtons have over 30 years of experience in building, operating and selling coal companies in the USA that have produced approximately 400 million tons of coal.

In Novemeber 2005 Sentient sold its interest into Energy Coal Resources (ECR), a newly formed coal company, for a combination of cash and shares in the new entity.
